In April 2026, the National Institutes of Applied Research (NIAR) joined the National Science and Technology Council in Grenoble, France, to participate in the 2nd Taiwan–France Science and Technology Conference, alongside a series of high-level forum exchanges. The events focused on semiconductors, AI, biomedicine, and marine science, bringing together government officials, research leaders, and industry representatives. Through keynote speeches, strategic dialogues, and bilateral meetings, NIAR strengthened Taiwan–France scientific collaboration, advanced technology diplomacy, and expanded international partnerships with leading French institutions.
