Through various forms such as science popularization events on different topics, open houses, science education videos, etc., we aim to let more children and adults understand the scientific research being conducted at the NIAR, whether in depth or superficially. It is hoped that through these science education efforts, we can enhance the public's understanding of science and technology, and foster a long-term impROVement in the scientific literacy of society as a whole.

Civil IoT Taiwan
- Hybrid virtual-physical exhibition. The physical exhibition is held in the National Taiwan Science Education Center.
- Held by NIAR Science & Technology Policy Research and Information Center (STPI), National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE), and National Center for High-performance Computing (NCHC).
- Physical exhibition was held from December 2020 until May 2021.

Secret Base of Scientists Exhibition
- A diverse array of interactive games and popular science exhibits from various NIAR centers.
- Inspiring exhibits that show the public that science is fun and interesting.
- Held in November 2018, July 2019, and August 2020.
- Another 3-year exhibition started in March 2023 at the National Taiwan Science Education Center.
- A year-long exhibition will be launched at the National Science and Technology Museum in Kaohsiung starting in December 2024.

IC60 – I See the Future
- A year after being held in Huashan 1914 Creative Park in 2018, this exhibition moved to The Pier2 Art Center.
- This exhibit utilized a variety of themes to let the public get to know the development history of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry.
